
Amy Pollack, MD, FACOG, FACPM, leads the development and execution of the team’s overall strategy. She oversees the program’s grant portfolio and works closely with internal partners and peers to coordinate efforts to achieve the program’s goals.
Prior to joining the foundation, Amy served as chief safety officer at Medtronic, where she set the strategy and policy for medical safety across the company’s global business groups.
Amy has over 25 years of experience in domestic and international health care including work in clinical practice; as the CEO of an international women’s health non-profit; and as an executive in early-stage medical device businesses, social venture capital, and industry. She has led global health multilateral negotiations for disruptive technologies and national working groups to drive policy change around the HPV vaccine, cervical cytology, and prostate cancer.
Amy received her undergraduate degree in neurosciences and medical degree from the University of Florida. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology and Preventive Medicine residencies at the University of Washington.
