Steve Landry serves as the director of Multilateral Partnerships. In this role, he works with a select group of critical partners to ensure our strategic engagement is optimized, especially for key multilateral organizations that are central to the success of the foundation’s global health and development goals. As the relationship owner of specific partnerships, Steve helps align critical stakeholders at the foundation and identify opportunities across strategic agendas in partnership with program and advocacy teams.

Prior to his current role in the Office of the President in Global Development, Steve served as interim director of Vaccine Delivery and as deputy director of New Vaccine Introductions where he was responsible for leading the foundation’s efforts to accelerate the evaluation and introduction of new vaccines and related technologies. Prior to joining the foundation in 2004, he was the senior director of Program Financing for the Gavi Fund. Steve also spent over 13 years working with USAID.

Steve began his career in international development in the Peace Corps, where he served as a science teacher at a rural high school in Liberia. He holds a Ph.D. in medical entomology and vector borne disease modeling from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
