Greg Ferrante

Greg Ferrante is the primary financial advisor to the president of the Global Policy & Advocacy and United States Program divisions, helping develop resource plans for foundation strategies and providing analytic and business support to strengthen foundation investments. Greg leads the team of finance and business professionals who conduct due diligence on foundation partners and charitable investments, working alongside program staff and external partners to structure and manage our grant portfolios for impact. Greg also leads work to structure the foundation’s innovative finance portfolio.

Greg joined the foundation in 2007 and served in a number of roles in the Financial Planning & Analysis team, specifically supporting the Global Development division. Prior to joining the foundation, he worked at the United States Government Accountability Office, focusing on public health issues, and at Booz Allen Hamilton, where he focused on economic and business analysis for a variety of government and private sector clients.

Greg earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina, his master’s degree in public policy from Duke University, and his master’s degree in business administration from Johns Hopkins University. He has served on several boards and advisory panels, including Chair of the Audit and Finance Committee of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
